"I must go down to the seas again . . . . . "

John Masefield had it just right as he wrote his now famous poem "Sea Fever".

"I must go down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide.  Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied; And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying, And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying."

Evidently, Ingrid was bitten by the call again.  She accepted a recent offer to conduct another watercolor workshop at sea.  She boarded Celebrity's Millennium  in Seward, Alaska on May 10 for a 14 day roundtrip to Vancouver, B.C.  This was Ingrid's 9th sailing since she came down with sea fever in 2007.  When the workshops ended, she never wasted any time to go "top side" to see what she could paint from the deck.  These are some of the paintings resulting from this recent cruise.
